The Schuyler County Humane Society is excited to announce that through a grant from the Petfinder Foundation and Kia, we are offering half-price adoption fees starting July 1st!

Circus coming to Ashland

The Village of Ashland will be hosting the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus on Thursday, August 15. The circus will be located at the A-C Central High School. Shows will be at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Epilito Guadarrama, 22, Beardstown, was given a written warning for obstructed windows and a verbal warning for an obstructed license plate on July 1.

Save-A-Lot earns Niemann Award

The Beardstown Save-A-Lot was recently awarded a trophy for Best Store Brand Presentation by parent company Niemann Foods Inc. according to Regional Director of Operations Owen Miller.

Nate’s Park will always remain Chandlerville Village property  

A lengthy discussion on Nate’s Park in Changlerville topped the Village Board meeting in front of a large crowd at its regular meeting, July 10th.

The board discussed the deed to Nate’s Park and said it was definetly owned by Chandlerville and will stay that way.
