Cass County CASA, a program of Advocacy Network for Children, recently swore in its newest CASA volunteer. Randi Cowell was sworn in on Wednesday, June 11th, by Judge Timothy Wessel at the Cass County Courthouse.
Joseph J. Torres, 28, Beardstown, was picked up on June 13 on a Cass County warrant for Contempt of court. He posted $200 bond and was released with new court date.

Second year Beardstown High School boys’ basketball Coach Wade Muller has announced the Tigers will hold a youth summer basketball camp in July.
