Uriel Rodriguez, 64, of Beardstown died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, at his residence.
    He was born July 5, 1956, the son of Jesus Rodriguez Covarubias and Maria Santacruz Hernandez.
    He is survived by his siblings, Jose Rodriguez of Beardstown, Jesus Rodriguez of Hoffman Estates, Refugio Rodriguez of Kalamazoo, MI, Maria Chaparro of Michigan, Estela Rodriguez of Salinas, CA, Delfino Rodriguez of Westmont, Maria Refugio of Addison, Esperanza Rodriguez of Cicero and Lidia Rodriguez of Villa Nueva, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Maria Guadalupe.
    Mr. Rodriguez was currently employed at JBS in Beardstown and was of the Catholic faith. Uriel loved visiting with his family, especially his “grandchildren.”
    A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec.1, at Beardstown City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.sagerfuneralhome.com.
