A pretty Easter day with family

We had a pretty Easter day, and I hope all of my readers did also. Our son Don lives about five minutes from our place here in Bloomington and we spent Easter Sunday with him. Three of our children were there, two of our grandchildren that live in Decatur, and one great-grandchild. In addition to these 11 family members, Don had invited Randy Ralston and his wife, Kai Ping, to be with us. Christine and I and our three children Ann, Don, Chris, and Randy all graduated from Beardstown High School. We are expecting another great-grandchild any day now, so daughter Sue and her family stayed in the Chicago area for their Easter.
Just in the last months, Ringling Brothers Circus decided to close their circus. They were still attracting large audiences, but not in the usual tent, only in large gymnasiums. I think the law ruling out the training of elephants and other animals had a lot to do with the decision to close.
