NCAA upsets, great-grand babies & family ski fun= busy weekend

What an interesting week, full of ex- citement and suspense. It was the most even teams ever selected to play in the NCAA College Basketball Tournament. With all of the overtimes and games de- cided in the last two minutes, it really messed up a lot of selections made in the office pools. It was a new record when the 16th seeded University of Mary- land Baltimore County team upset No. 1 seeded Virginia—that had never hap- pened before. The other surprise was the Missouri Valley Conference Champion Loyola upsetting highly favored Miami and Tennessee to reach Sweet Sixteen. <ahref=""><spanstyl... 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">To view more, please log in or subscribe to the digital edition.
