Timothy D. Hauschildt, 62, of Chatham, formerly of Marengo, IL, died at 12:27 a.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at his home.
    Timothy was born May 20, 1959, in Marengo, IL, the son of David and Beverly Guse Hauschildt.  He married Deborah A. Hardesty on July 21, 2001, in Chicago.
    He graduated in 1977 from Marengo High School in Marengo,  and attended Harper Community College in Palatine.  He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago.      
    He worked in the hospitality industry in management all over the country, working the longest at Club Corporation of America locations.  He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in LaGrange,  and Club Managers Association of America (CMA).  He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, and spending time and fellowship with family and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his father; both sets of grandparents; and many close friends.
    Timothy is survived by his wife, Deborah A. Hauschildt of Chatham; son, Gabriel Hauschildt of Portland, OR; mother, Beverly Hauschildt of Beardstown; siblings, Randy (Deborah) Hauschildt of Marengo, Patricia (Gregg) Valenziano of Pleasanton, CA, Amy Sommers of Beardstown, and Nancy (Erik) Small of Lorena, TX; sister-in-law, Virginia (Kenneth) Slifka of Chicago; special friend, Kim Dahms of Chatham; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his constant companion, Tiny the cat.
    Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
    Fellowship will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 505 S. Park Ave., LaGrange.  A luncheon will immediately follow the service.
