Teresa Marie (Harris) Matthews of Springfield was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She left this world suddenly on September 25, 2021 at the age of 60 and will be greatly missed.

  Teresa was born to Jack and Dorothy Harris on November 16, 1960.   She is survived by significant other Frank Sloper; three children, Chad Harris (husband, Scott Sumner), Shayla Cary and Hannah Matthews; four grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Alexius Catholic Cemetery in Beardstown.
