Ribbon cutting at JBS Soccer Complex
Although the Lady Tiger Soccer game did not turn out as it was hoped, the improvements at the Beardstown Park District soccer fields are certainly living up to expectations.
On Tuesday, April 9, the Beardstown Park District hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at the newly minted JBS Soccer Complex. The soccer fields underwent a major revitalization beginning in the summer of 2023 through a $446,000 donation at the end of 2020 by JBS as part of their Hometown Proud Initiative.
