
New frames to display Beardstown Police’s Patch Collection
Three frames of police patches is shown above that Beardstown Police Department has been collecting for several years. For a long time they were displayed on a red background with no border. Holding them are students from Illinois School of the Deaf (ISD) who constructed new frames, background and arranged the patches under the supervision of JC Hatfield, who is the instructor of the ISD woodshop program.Police Chief Martin Coad said he had 17 more to add to the big one which displays patches from all over the United States, city and county law enforcement agencies.
