Trojans slay Wolves
The Triopia-Meredosia-Virginia baseball team shut out the Pleasant Hill Wolves but lost to the Routt Rockets last week to move their season record to 6-13.
On Monday at home, the Trojans scored a run in the bottom of the first against Jacksonville Routt but did not score again in a 7 to 1 loss. The Rockets took the lead for good with four in the second and added three in the seventh to sew it up. The big blue had just five hits with Jacob Cook and Gameli White having two each and Cooper Parrish having one and driving in the only run. Brock York walked and scored for the Trojans.
