Deloche stands by previous statements

Dear Editor,

I respectfully request to reply to the three members of the Cass County Board that implied that I am a liar and not to be taken serious for anything I say.

This is the typical response of left wing, counter culture, authoritarians. Unlike these three pillars of intellect, I do my research before I make a public statement

If what I presented in my last letter was false or inaccurate, the board members did not bother to point out a single word or sentence to that issue. By their own words, they did admit that they had a meeting considering bussing illegal immigrants. I did not state one way or the other as to their decision. I challenged for an answer of their intentions.

Virginia resident concerned over American rights

I believe that every legal USA citizen still has freedoms. Our country’s founders all had personally experienced repression and no rights under the King George III regime. The first ten amendments in the Constitution guarantees us, “We the People” our rights in the Bill of Rights.

Resident discusses county’s decision

I was glad to see Democrats and Republicans working together at the Cass County Board safety committee meeting Monday night. Most board members were present due to a contentious ordinance on busing, which was passed on to the full board for consideration at the March 11 meeting.

An answer to Adrian DeLoche’s letter

Adrian DeLoche is completely wrong about the Cass County Board proposal. No one wants busloads of migrants dropped off here. The board is trying to stop this practice before it comes to Cass County. DeLoche starts off his arguments with complete misinformation and goes downhill from there.

Writer upset over bussing immigrants to Cass

It has come to my attention that the Cass County Board is giving consideratin to bussing illegal immigrants in Chicago to locations here in Cass County. I am outraged and offended that they would even consider this to be any kind of option.

Concerns over Virginia Dollar General closures

Living in a small town can be difficult having access to limited stores and items. But how much more difficult does that living become when access to your local store is cut due to lack of employees and openings. This is what residents of Virginia and the surrounding area are facing with the hit and miss closure of the local Dollar General.

Yes, council members should be held to a higher standard

Dear Editor, Responding to the “Should council members be held to a higher standard?” The answer is “YES.” All personnel who work for city government, including volunteers, work for the citizens of Virginia. We do not work for you. You work for us. People vote and elect the leaders of the departments they are responsible for. The lesser ranking subordinates carry our policy and procedures as written and approved by the supervisor’s division chief.

Culbertson has new medical record system

Dear Editor,

As I write this letter, the entire team at Culbertson Memorial Hospital is beginning to utilize our new Electronic Medical Record system, Oracle Health Community Works. On Sunday night we officially turned on the new system. In addition to the Culbertson personnel, a large team of consultants are on-site to ensure our conversion goes smoothly.

Questioning changes in the nation

Any opinions expressed in Letters to Editors do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Cass County Star-Gazette. Dear Editor,I really wonder what the vietnamese interpreter told his superior what Biden was saying.I’m tired of woozy Republicans telling us how wrong Biden is about National Security, energy, the border and everything else. He’s mostly wrong when he allows handlers to easily overthrow their own country.
