Winning continues for Lady Trojan Volleyball

The Triopia-Meredosia-Chambersburg-Virginia High School Volleyball Team continues to pick up wins, taking two out of three games last week to improve to 12-5 on the season.

Trojan Football gets rivalry win

For the fourth consecutive week, only one of the area football teams was victorious last Friday night. The Triopia-Merdosia-Chambersburg-Virginia Trojans picked up a huge win, knocking off arch- rival Jacksonville Routt to move to 2-2 on the season.

Open burn ban called off

Ashland Fire Protection District Chief Shane Hall called off a ban on open burning in the district on Monday. Hall issued the ban last Wednesday following discussion with the fire protection district board at the previous night’s meeting.
