Tigers set their sights on postseason success

As a great regular season draws to a close, the Beardstown High School soccer team has received their postseason assignment, earning the number two-seed in their sub-sectional of the Chillicothe Sectional. They will play the winner of number ten seeded Port Byron and number seven seed Monmouth-Roseville at Quincy Notre Dame at 4:00 p.m.

Tiger Soccer falls to Crimsons

A very good Class 2A Jacksonville Crimson team came to Beardstown last Wednesday and knocked off the Beardstown High School soccer team by a score of 3 to 0. The Crimsons improved to 11-2-3 against a loaded schedule while Beardstown fell to 11-4-3 on the year.

Tiger Soccer tops Pleasant Plains

Less than one week after a tough overtime shootout loss to Pleasant Plains in the Williamsville Tournament, the Beardstown High School Soccer Team got revenge on the Cardinals in a huge confidence building win.

Tiger Soccer knocks off SHG

Although the Beardstown High School soccer team went just 1-2 in the Williamsville Tournament last week, it was undoubtedly a successful week as the Tigers pulled off a program defining win, knocking off perennial power Springfield Sacred Heart Griffin in the opening game last Wednesday. The Tigers defeated the Cyclones 1 to 0 on a last-minute goal by Luis Hernandez from a Cesar Rodriguez assist.

Good start for BHS Soccer

The Beardstown High School Soccer Team is off to a good start to the season, fashioning a 2-0-2 record over the first week of the season. The Tigers tied class 3A Galesburg and Quincy High School 2 to 2, while beating Abingdon-Avon 6-0 and Canton, Missouri 8-1.
