Beardstown board discusses incentive bonuses to help with attendance

During their board discussion on Wednesday, July 17th, Superintendent Brent O’Daniell noted that 13% of the Beardstown school staff had six or fewer absences last year. He also noted that students will learn better with a constant face in the front of that classroom. So, what is the answer to keep the teachers and staff in the classroom?
