Triopia Trojans are off to a good start for 2015

The Trojans of Triopia are off to an excellent start for the 2015 season as they are off and running with a 4-1 mark in the early going.
They defeated the BHS Tigers 3-2 in the season opener with Stephen Cogswell picking up the win by going five-innings, with Kole Covington finishing up the final two innings.
Cogswell gave up five hits, two runs, only one was earned, walked two and struck out seven in his first outing. Covington was able to put goose eggs on the scoreboard for the Big Blue as he did not allow a hit or run, did not walk a batter, and struckout two.
The Trojans banged out nine hits against three Tiger hurlers. Cogswell and Covington also led the hit parade by going 2-for-4 each, as both banged out doubles. Matt Logsdon also got into the swing of things with a 1-for-3 and an RBI.
