Lady Tigers winning streak ends at nine; go 1-3 in Showcase

O&B faced outstanding hurlers in tournament play

The Lady Tigers continue their winning ways but were faced with a brutal seven-game schedule in only five days.
They continue to hit the ball hard with everyone in the lineup adding to the early season success. In this stretch the O&B were able to put up a 9-0 record, giving them a great start to the 2015 season.
However, in the Showcase played here on the hometowners home diamond this past weekend the bats went silent as they went 1-3 in the tournament.
They lost three straight after winning the opener against Springfield High, the O&B suffered losses to Auburn, Calhoun, and Illini West.
This Monday their woes continued as they lost a road contest to archrival Rushville/Industry 4-1.
