Hardin Calhoun Lady Warriors finish second in Class 1A State Finals

Hardin County crew to return all five starters next season

Although the sting of losing in the finals of the  Class 1A state champion- ship is still on the minds of the Calhoun Lady Warriors, beware in 2016 as the “Peaches” from Hardin-Calhoun return all five starters from the 32-3 squad from this season, in-cluding sophomore first team all-state 6-2 Grace Baalman, and her 6-1 cousin Emma Baalman, honorable mention all-state.
Calhoun lost 51-41 to the Moweaqua A&M Lady Raiders (31-1), in their lowest point production of the 2014-15 season.
The problem for Calhoun was they went eight minutes, 52 seconds without a field goal, while The Lady Raiders ran off a 13-3 run to claim the state title.
