BHS Tigers start off on right foot

All around effort leads to the win

Rick Dour shined both at the plate and on the hill as the Tigers knocked off Camp Point Central 6-1 Monday in their season opener. Dour’s two run single in the second proved to be enough for the Tiger win.
The lean right-hander worked four innings, giving up one run, which was unearned, striking out six, and did not walk a batter. Carlos Jimenez went two innings, allowed one hit, no runs, and struck out three, while D’Ante McWilliams hurled the final inning, did not allow a run, and gave up the only walk by the Tiger mound staff. The three hurlers combined for a two-hitter.
