BHS Soccer claims Regional title with 8-1 beatdown of Piasa

Second straight year O&B are regional champs

    The BHS 2016 Soccer team won the Carlinville Regional for the second straight year, defeating Staunton in the semifinals by a 3-1 score, and blistered Piasa Southwestern 8-1 in the championship.
    The O&B played Raymond (Lincolnwood) on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 at Macon (Meridian).

    The Tigers seeded #1 drew the bye and met Staunton, who defeated Gillespie to move into the semifinals. The Tigers were without the services of their top gun Murphy Domitien who went down with an apparent head injury trying for a “Header” at the 10-minute mark.
