Saying goodbye to a part of Beardstown history

A piece of Beardstown histroy is leaving. The old Beardstown CB&Q Depot is being demolished. This was the terminal that was used for loading and unloading passengers. Beardstown’s CB&Q passenger station was last used by passenger trains in 1961. In recent years the building has been used by BNSF Railway Maintenance of Way crews. Photo by Jaime Chapman
