Rebecca L. Maltby, 76, of Bucklin, MO, died Friday, June 18, 2021 at her home in Bucklin.
She was born in Springfield, on November 28, 1944 to James T. and Dorthea “Dottie” (Wheaties) Wilkinson. She married Thomas E. Maltby on March 24, 1989 and he survives.
She is also survived by three daughters, Meghan Riegerix and Daniel of Bucklin, Dottie Chamberlain and Mark of Mount Juliet, Tennessee and Melanie Long and Garrett of Teutopolis, Illinois, and seven grandchildren, David and Dustin Chamberlain, Willow and Ruthie Riegerix, and Jocelyn, Kaelyn, and Lorelei Long.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jimmy.
Rebecca was a small business owner, having owned the Country Saloon, and was a college professor at Illinois Central College in East Peoria for 30 years. She loved Disney World, riding motorcycles and was a member of the Bucklin United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Bucklin United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin.
