Beardstown Police
    On June 14, Kile W. Wessel, 23, of Beardstown was ticketed for possession of a controlled substance and lodged in Morgan County Jail.
    On June 15, Chance E. Schreieck, 21, of Beardstown was ticketed for criminal trespass to residence and was lodged in Schuyler County Jail.
    On June 17, a vehicle driven by Roberta K. Sumner backed into a parked vehicle owned by Neil J. Harris.
    On June 17, Marcos Cortez-Rodriguez, 42, of Beardstown was ticketed for lack of valid driver’s license, posted bond, and was released.
    On June 17, Israel Sanchez-Hernandez, 24, of Beardstown was ticketed for possession of drug paraphernalia and given notice to appear.
    On June 18, a vehicle driven by Nonnat Divaresse Sairt backed into a parked vehicle owned by Alberto Cortez.
    On June 18, Joseph D. Devore, 28, of Beardstown was ticketed for driving while license suspended and possession of cannabis more than 2.5 grams and given notice to appear.
    On June 18, John D. Spears, 43, of Beardstown was ticketed for domestic battery and lodged in Schuyler County Jail.
    On June 19, Ramon A. Godina, 73, of Beardstown was ticketed for use of a wireless phone while driving.
    On June 19, Michael Self, 53, of Beardstown was ticketed for possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal transportation of alcohol and lodged in Schuyler County Jail.
    On June 20, Andrew H. Dotzert, 24, of Beardstown was ticketed for speeding.
    On June 20, Heriberto R. Cortes, 71, of Beardstown was ticketed for improper starting of a vehicle.
    On June 20, Michael B. Smith, 34, of Beardstown was ticketed for criminal damage to property over $300 and assault and was lodged in Schuyler County Jail.
    On June 21, Justin L. Bernardini, 30, of Beardstown was ticketed for criminal trespass to property, obstructing justice, and aggravated battery and was lodged in Schuyler County Jail.
    On June 21, James G. Denny, 62, of Beardstown was ticketed for assault, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and unlawful restraint and was lodged in Schuyler County Jail.
    On June 22, Lester L. Rush, 39, of Beardstown was ticketed for talking on a wireless phone while driving.
    On June 22, Felipe J. Garcia, 29, of Beardstown was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign and given notice to appear.

Cass County Sheriff
    An accident occurred on June 20 at 5:29 p.m. when a west-bound vehicle driven by William Kerry Horrer, 54, of Virginia struck a deer on County Highway 9. The impact caused the deer to spin into the east-bound lane, at which point it was struck by a motorcycle driven by Richard E. Hendricker, 56, of Arenzville. No injuries were reported from Horrer’s vehicle. Hendricker was air-lifted to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
