Beardstown Police

    Aldo Marichal-Pedraja, 47, of Beardstown was charged with domestic battery, aggravated domestic battery, battery/obstructing a peace officer and aggravated battery to a police officer on March 2. He was taken to the Schuyler County Jail.
    Christopher Reyes-Martinez, 21, of Beardstown was charged with possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance on March 2. He was lodged in the Schuyler County Jail.
    Jimmie A. Cook, 19, of Beardstown was charged on Feb. 28 with retail theft in the 100 block of Lincoln.
    Brandon L. Delay, 30, of Jacksonville was charged with an expired registration March 2. Bond was posted.
    A Beardstown juvenile was charged on Feb. 28 with retail theft in the 100 block of Lincoln on Feb. 18 and given notice to appear.
    Ryan J. Miller, 21, of Beardstown was charged with driving while license suspended on March 2.
    Katherine Rice, 51, of Springfield was charged with improper parking on a roadway (fire lane) on Feb. 28. Bond was posted.
    John Wodam, 33, of Beardstown was charged with domestic battery on March 8. He was taken to the Schuyler County Jail.
Warrants
    A warrant was served on Brian K. Harbin, 55, on charges of  possession of a firearm without a FOID card and resisting a peace officer. He was lodged in the Schuyler County Jail.
    A warrant was issued for Daylon D. Cooper, 22, for failure to appear on charges of retail theft (under $300).
Accidents
    Irene V. Nsibavuidi of Beardstown reported on March 3 the driver’s side mirror of her vehicle was struck by an unknown unit.
    An accident occurred Feb. 24 when a vehicle driven by Sarah A. Dejanes, 18, of Mt. Sterling backed out of a parking space and struck a parked vehicle belonging to Harold B. Thurman, 50, of Beardstown.
