Panthers claw Tigers in lopsided 46-6 win

Camp Point thrives in postponed game

The BHS Tigers were handed a 46-6 pasting by the host Camp Point Central last Saturday afternoon. The game was originally scheduled for Friday night but severe weather created the postponement.
Saturday afternoon turned out to be a great day for football, with the mild temperature and the low humidity, thanks to the previous night’s storm.
Camp Point Central, smarting from a 1-2 start, came to play Saturday afternoon and clawed out a lopsided 46-6 win over the O&B.
The hosts used a 367-134 advantage in total yardage in the win over the Tigers, with Noah Schieter picking up 147 yards on only nine carries. The O&B were led by Isaac Riddle’s 69 yards on four carries, with Brady O’Hara picking up 47 yards on 11 tries.
