In the Illinois Region, over 5,000 people volunteer with the Red Cross. In the last year, they responded to almost 1,700 disasters and helped over 7,600 people impacted by home fires, severe weather, and more.

The Tri County Thunder District 17 Senior Softball Team, the back-to-back Little League World Series Champions have officially started the defense of their 2024 and 2023 Championships. Their bingo fundraiser held on March 29 was such a success that they have planned another one for Saturday, May 17.
