The Western Illinois Valley Conference has named their baseball and softball All-Conference teams for 2025 with several Triopia-Meredosia-Virginia Trojans being honored.

The PORTA-AC Central High School Baseball and Softball teams were well represented on the 2025 Sangamo Conference All-Conference Teams.

The Beardstown Little League Baseball regular season is quickly coming to a close. There were three nights of games last week with two games on Monday and single games on Tuesday and Friday.

In their second year as members of the West Central Conference, the Beardstown High School Baseball and Softball Teams have landed several players on the 2025 All-Conference Team. The Tiger Baseball squad, which won the West Central Conference with a perfect 8-0 record, had four first team honorees and one honorable mention selection.

Congratulations go out to all the young people who were recently selected to the 2025 Beardstown High School Football Cheerleading Team and the 2025-2026 Beardstown High School Basketball Cheerleading Team. The BHS Football Cheerleading Team will be Aaliyah Montoya Sanchez, Aaliyah Quinones, Addi McClenning, Addison Graves, Camila De La Cruz, Genesis Montoya, Hailey Beller, Layla Garcia, Marielos Vega, Mayra Rodriguez Vega, Miley Ayala, Nancy Guerrero, Nathaly Lucha and Stella Petersen.

The Beardstown Junior Football League is excited to start year two of their youth football programs in Beardstown. Re-started last year after a brief hiatus due to the discontinuation of the program by the Beardstown Park District, the group of diehard football fans and parents who make up the Beardstown JFL has opened registration for the 2025 season.

Calling all baseball and softball players! The Beardstown Baseball-Softball Association will be hosting a Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run Competition this year at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12th at the Beardstown Park District ballfields.
