Beardstown Area Special Athletes held their annual softball tournament this past weekend.
The two-time defending Little League Senior Softball World Series Champion Tri-County Thunder District 17 Softball team will begin their title defense with state tournament play on Monday, July 7, at Rice Field in Beardstown. The Thunder will take on Kaneland from District 13 and the first game is set for 2:00 p.m., with game two to follow at 4:00 p.m.
