Rexroat Prairie, Route 78, Viriginia, will host Log Cabin Day, October 14, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. There will be crafts, vendors, hands on activities for kids and food sor sale by the Virginia Park District. Admission is free and all are invited to attend.

Thomas J. Dewitt, 48, Arenzville, was arrested by Cass County Sheriff’s Department at 7:27 p.m. October 6 on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. He was lodged in Morgan County Jail.

In recent days the Church has had its problems. According to a recent Gallup Poll, church membership in the U.S. has declined steadily over the last two decades. Since 1998 church membership has declined across denominational lines by 20%.
