Jenna Kesselring, Ashland, was one of 80 students who participated in a White Coat Ceremony at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine on August 15. She is the daughtger of Brett and Jackie Kesselring of Ashland.

The Beardstown Junior High School Softball Team finished up regular season play last week with a 17-2 record. The Lady Tigers suffered their second loss of the season last Thursday, falling 8 to 6 to Carthage at home in extra innings.
