The Beardstown City Council met for a short meeting Tuesday night to approve the bid from GTSI for Kenwood Multi-Band Radio system for the Beardstown Police Department in the amount of $157,058 after the trade-in of five radios on hand. All members present voted yes.

A-C Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 15 at the Board Conference Room, Unit Office, 501 W. Buchanan Street, Ashland.

Benny was born May 5, 2025. He is a very loving boy who always greets people at the door. He loves to be held and is always purring! Benny is very playful and gets along well with the other cats.

Both the Beardstown High School and Middle School Cross Country Teams competed in the Rochester Invite on Saturday, September 6 and had a great day of running.
