    Kenneth Brock Reid, 19, of Chandlerville died at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, in rural Kilbourne.
    He was born Aug. 26, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield to Kenneth and Hollie (Pherigo) Reid II.
    Brock is survived by his parents of Chandlerville, twin sisters, Alexis and Olivia Reid of Chandlerville, as well as grandparents, Kenneth A. (the late Rose Marie) Reid of Virginia, Ronnie and Andrea Pherigo of Chandlerville, and Kim and Kent Daniels of Virginia. Also surviving is Lois Spicer, whom he considered to be his grandmother, and many friends that he treated like family as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncle Kelly G. Reid.
     Brock was baptized at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was currently a student at Spoon River College in Canton where he was studying to work on diesel engines. He enjoyed playing competitive travel baseball, dirt bike riding and listening to music. He especially enjoyed the outdoors, whether he was fishing or hunting deer or turkey. He lived his life big. Whether it was helping his grandparents, or working with young children, he was always willing to help a friend in need.
    Graveside services will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery near Chandlerville at noon on Saturday, Nov. 21. Immediately following the graveside services, a Celebration of Life will be held at Panther Creek New Beginnings Church in Chandlerville. Rev. Tom Carlock will officiate.
