Joan Reller, 92, of Beardstown, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Heritage Health in Beardstown.
She was born Oct. 19, 1926, the daughter of Gale and Allyne Crone Quigley. She married Jack Reller on Feb. 23, 1947, in Beardstown and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1987.
She is survived by her children, Dale (Toni) Reller of Arenzville, Diane Austin of Beardstown and Julie Barron of Pittsfield; nine grandchildren, Kim (Curt) Hance, Shonda (Jandro) Galvan, Christian (Kristi Jo) Reller, Kiley (Clint) Vinyard, Carrie (Kenny Homann) Heriford, Jay (Megan) Heriford, Katie (Dean) Couch, Jack (Melanie Garnett) Walters and Amanda Henderson; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Max Quigley; and a son-in-law, Russell Austin.
Mrs. Reller was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beardstown. She and her husband, Jack, co-owned and operated Reller and Sons General Contractors in Beardstown. Joan enjoyed bowling and playing cards in the local bridge club.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 18, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Beardstown.
