    Arbon Mark Grossman, 63, of Macomb died Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at his home.
    He was born June 30, 1957, in Beardstown, the son of Arbon G. and Shirley Phelps Grossman.
    He is survived by his mother, Shirley Cronin of Macomb; his aunt, Phyllis Anderson of Beardstown; his sister, Gloria (husband Jeffrey) Smith of Oklahoma; three nephews, David James Wetherell, Jeffrey Scott (wife Gabrielle) Smith Jr., and Weston Andrew Smith; and a great-niece, Kennedy Rose Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, his step-father, John J. Cronin, M.D., and his brother, David G. Wetherell.  
    Mark graduated from River Forest High School and from Western Illinois University with a degree in nuclear physics. He was a superintendent for several nuclear power facilities, the last being Dresden Generating Station in Morris, and retired in 2017.
    He liked golfing even if he wasn’t the greatest. Mark enjoyed guns, trap shooting, and the occasional classic cigar. He often could be seen riding around town on his bicycle or cheering on his favorite team, Notre Dame. He will be missed by his family and friends.  
    Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 22, at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown, with Pastor Daryl Vermillion officiating. Burial was in the Beardstown City Cemetery.
