Schuyler County State’s Attorney Ramon M. Escapa announced that Dennis J. Henninger, 51, of Rushville was sentenced on April 9 to two consecutive four-year terms in the Illinois Department of Corrections and mandatory supervised release of two years for the offense of possession of child pornography. On March 4, Henninger pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of child pornography.
Henninger was arrested at his home on July 31, 2014, and has remained in custody at the Schuyler County Jail on $300,000 bail. The arrest was made by the Illinois Attorney General Police as part of “Operation Glass House,” a statewide initiative to apprehend offenders who download and trade child pornography online.
Sentencing guidelines will require that Henninger serve 50% of his sentence before being eligible for mandatory supervised release, otherwise known as parole.
