Raya Cloninger and Logan Jokisch announce their upcoming wedding to be held at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church in Jacksonville on Sept. 12.
The bride and groom both attended A-C Central High School where they became high school sweethearts.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Todd and Delana Cloninger of Chandlerville and is a senior at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. She will graduate this summer with a bachelor of science degree with a major in business administration specializing in management and a minor in sociology.
The future groom is serving the United States in the U.S. Air Force. He will celebrate his five-year career with the Air Force on June 22. He is the son of Marshall and Julie Jokisch of Ashland. Logan has been furthering his education while in the Air Force and will attain an associate’s degree at the Community College of the Air Force this summer.
Officiating at the wedding will be Jim Waterman, pastor of the Chandlerville Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). A reception will follow the ceremony at Hamilton’s Catering, Inc. also in Jacksonville. A honeymoon is planned for a future date in 2016.
The couple are currently residing in Collinsville where they will live until June 2016.
