Daryle Jockisch February 1, 1950 - February 24, 2015

    Daryle Jockisch, 65, of Vermont, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 at his residence.
    He was born on Feb. 1, 1950 in Meredosia, a son of the late Clifford and Rosemary Turner Jockisch. He married Sandra Belville on April 27, 1967 in Palmyra, Mo. She survives along with two sons: Dewayne Jockisch and Angie of Vermont, and Robert Wayne Jockisch of Ipava; two daughters: Sandra Dee “Dede” Jockisch of Lincoln and Carolyn “Diane” Sargent of Rushville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: William “Bill” Jockisch and Kay of Abingdon, and Clyde Jockisch and Mary of Rushville.
    He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert “Bob” Jockisch and one sister, Vivian Akin.
    Daryle drove a truck on long and short hauls all of his life, retiring on Feb. 1. He was a very active member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed woodworking, antiquing and antique tractors. Some may remember Daryle from when he was manager at Beardstown Farm & Home Supply.
    Cremation will be accorded. No services are scheduled at this time. A trust is being established at Vermont State Bank to support equally, N. R. A. and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
