The final four, baseball & golf mean plenty to write about

From basketball to baseball, its nice that it happens this way. The NCAA tournament was much different this year, because after many years trying, I finally won a pool last year by picking the winner and having the most games won. However, I didn’t learn a thing because this year I had 33 games wrong although I did pick three of the final four teams and with so many upsets, if Villanova is the champion, I might win the pool this year.

The NCAA tournament selection committee said that the teams this year were more even this year than ever in the past and so that did make a lot of good basketball games to watch.

The major league baseball games started earlier than ever before and as for the Cubs they started their season off with a bang. First, they were lucky to have scheduled first games in warm Miami against the Marlins and on the very first pitch, the Cub leadoff man Ian Happ hit the very first pitch into the right field bleachers for a home run, only one other person has done that before to open the major league season. The Cubs played at least 15 more innings and then my tape ran out, if my throwing arm was good and I had a brick I believe I would have thrown it at the television. &nbsp;&nbsp;<ahref=""><spanstyl... 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">To view more, please log in or subscribe to the digital edition.</span></a></p>
