The Canadian geese bring family

Do you remember me talking about the pair of Canada Geese that come to the pond every year? My husband and I always wished they would have their babies around the area, but never did see them. Sunday morning, my dog was barking at the picture window view, so I got out the binoculars and found the resident pair with their little offspring. They were standing on the dam of the pond.
They had two ducklings or whatever they call them, looked to be the same age and size. I thought probably about two months old. I guess they brought them to see the pond their parents always use, so it will be theirs too. It was nice to finally see them with family. Maybe they had nested around the area; there are timber areas not far from the pond.
