Triopia-Virginia high school volleyball team to host Volley for Hope

On Oct. 15, Triopia High School will help raise awareness for breast cancer through its Volley for Hope event.
The Volley for Hope game will see the Triopia-Virginia volleyball team square off against Beardstown in the Triopia High School gym at 6 p.m. The event is more than just a sports game, though; several activities will take place before the match, including a pulled pork dinner, raffles, a bake sale, and a silent auction. Students have also had the opportunity to vote for a teacher to receive a pie to the face before the game, as well as a football player to be dolled up in pink.
