UTVs hit speed bump in Virginia

A proposal to allow UTVs (utility task vehicles) and certain other non-highway vehicles on Virginia city streets ran into a speed bump at Monday evening’s City Council session.
Risk management expert Alex Snedeker told Council members the city would take on “substantial liability” by adopting an ordinance permitting the use of UTVs and other such vehicles within city limits.
Snedeker is vice president of Snedeker Risk Management.
