    The Triopia School Board, during a recent meeting, approved a new social studies curriculum for middle school students this fall. American history, world history and social studies will be updated at a cost just under $19,000.
    In the building committee report, it was noted that tuck pointing around the building will be completed at a cost of $4600. The fence around the drainage pond should be completed by the beginning of the school year. Parking lot work has been delayed.
    The district received $38,000 from the CARES act, earmarked for Chromebooks should another stay-at-home order be enacted.
    In the personnel report, Theresa Langley will be retained as district bookkeeper, Holly Ohrn as secretary and Kiley Vinyard as treasurer. Merle Beddingfield was hired as paraprofessional.
