What started out to be an afternoon of fun in the water  of the Illinois River ended tragically Thursday evening, Aug. 6,  with the drowning deaths of two Beardstown boys. Briston and Jorden Dunmire, ages 15 and 12,  were among a group of people wading and playing on a sandbar at the confluence of the Illinois and Sangamon Rivers near the Burlington-Northern Santa Fe Railroad bridge at Beardstown…
