Op-Ed: Thanking a mayor, an alderman

    As newly elected officials from school boards to the White House quickly discover, running for office is easy. It’s the governing or legislating part that is difficult. It is here far too many fall short.
    Throughout my long communication career, I’ve have the opportunity to not only meet but to really know elected officials from a vice president and governors to township supervisors. Upon reflection, I rank Steve Sudbrink and Steve Clark among the very best.
