Now, more than ever, local businesses need our support
With local restaurants closed to dine-in business, and a stay-home order issued by the governor’s office, many a local business will see a significant decline in revenue.
That’s why now, more than ever, we need to support our local eateries, shops and stores. Livelihoods depend on it.
So to the extent that we can, we are encouraging patronage at local stores and dining establishments whenever it’s possible. And whenever possible, we would encourage patrons to leave tips for the staff. Our patronage could mean the difference between a paycheck and unemployment. Local patronage could mean the difference between a paycheck and a foreclosure.
Every dollar spent, every tip left, directly affects our local economy. Spending locally keeps people employed. Remember, we’re all in this together.
