The Last Word

In our world, we people like to get the last word in any argument or discussion. One reason this is true is that we know people may remember the last word, but maybe not much of what led to it. As we have looked at Psalm 119 about the importance of God’s word, I wondered, what can we say is God’s last word in this long discourse?
I think if I had to pick one last word that would be “grace.” Those of you who took my earlier challenge to read all the sections of Psalm 119 will say, “but that word is not mentioned in the last verse,” and you are right. Verse 176, the very last verse, says: “I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek out your servant, for I do not forget your commandments.”
