Extension to offer Master Gardener training

Have you always been interested in becoming a University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener but because training was offered during the day you haven’t been able to join? University of Illinois Extension Adams, Brown, Hancock, Pike, & Schuyler Counties is now taking applications for the online Master Gardener training program offered through the Illinois Master Gardener program.

Not sure what the Master Gardener program is? Master Gardeners are those who have successfully completed a training program and wish to volunteer service in their local communities on approved projects. These volunteers work to “Help Others Learn to Grow” by providing education through hands on demonstrations, presentations, working with youth, helping others to learn about gardening in community gardens, the list goes on! You don’t have to be a plant expert to be a Master Gardener, but have a passion for plants and learning and a desire to help others in your local community. &nbsp;&nbsp;<ahref="http://etypeservices.com/Cass%20County%20Star%20GazetteID497/"><spanstyl... 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">To view more, please log in or subscribe to the digital edition.</span></a></p>
