Disinfection improvement continues in Chapin sewer

Ninety-five percent of the work surrounding the Disinfection Improvements project at the Chapin Sewer plant have been completed, with an estimated March completion date, this reported by the engineering firm of Benton and Associates at the January meeting of the Village board.
Elsewhere in the utilities report: inmates from the Pittsfield Work Camp will soon be assisting with work projects within the Village, and a decayed tree in the 700 block of Superior Street will soon be taken down.
