Council talks sewer, ambulance

    The Beardstown City Council met on Tuesday night and heard from Reggie Benton of Benton & Associates regarding the city’s wastewater system repair and replacement needs.
    Mr. Benton presented the council with a preliminary engineering report that outlined which areas Benton & Associates would like to see the city focus on in the next 20 years, but focused specifically on projects that would take place over the course of the next five, the costs of which would likely exceed $5 million.
