Cass County Board approves flood prevention ordinance

Meeting in regular session Monday night, the Cass County Board handled a relatively light agenda.
In the wake of recent flooding along the Illinois and Sangamon Rivers, the Cass County board unanimously approved an ordinance that will allow county residents to obtain flood insurance.  The Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance is required by law.
