A-C Central starts off a busy new school year

A-C Central started the school year off with a “crazy busy” first day according to Superintendent Tim Page in his report at the August meeting of the A-C Central school board, held on the day school started, but administrators reported the day had gone well for students. As of the first day, the count for all A-C schools is 471 students, although this may not end up being the final count.
A couple of scheduling issues emerged at the last minute. Some extra work needed to be done to fit students taking classes at PORTA into the schedule. This led to some reshuffling of classes, but Page reported that everyone who wanted to take classes PORTA offers will be able to take them.
